Overview

Kýklos is designed to generate QR codes locally in your browser. We do not operate a backend that receives or stores the text, URLs, colors, or settings you use to create a QR code.

Data processing

The content entered into the generator is processed by JavaScript running on your device. It is not transmitted to Kýklos servers.

  • QR content remains in your browser
  • Image and PDF exports are created on your device
  • No user account is required

Local storage

Kýklos uses browser localStorage to remember your theme and QR customization preferences. This data stays on your device and can be removed by clearing site data in your browser.

Clipboard access

Kýklos writes to the clipboard only when you select the copy action. Clipboard access is initiated by you and is handled by your browser.

Analytics and tracking

Kýklos does not include analytics, advertising trackers, profiling tools, or tracking cookies in the application source.

Third-party hosting

If Kýklos is deployed through a hosting provider, that provider may process basic request information such as IP addresses and user-agent headers according to its own privacy practices. The Kýklos application does not use that information.

This policy may be updated when the application changes. The latest version will always be available on this page.
